Master P has issued what seems to be a public apology to his son Romeo Miller after a days-long social media feud.
As previously reported by The Shade Room, Miller took to Instagram last week to share that he had reached a “boiling point” in the relationship with his father. His post arrived shortly after his father Master P shared his condolences for DJ tWitch.
Today was a boiling point. A seen a man avoid his own children struggle with suicide and depression but post another man whom passed today that he doesn’t even know. Yall idols be lost. Better stop following the blind. Watch when its revealed.
Miller followed up his post with more cryptic messages shared on his Instagram Story.
Manipulation is when they blame you for your reaction to their disrespect. When you see people who never ask themselves if the problem is them, you are actually seeing someone who is deeply afraid of life. Fearful people can only have things their way.
Sometimes you need to stop seeing the good in people and start seeing what they show you.
Fans speculated that Miller was sharing his disdain for how Master P has reacted to the passing of his daughter TyTyana Miller. According to PageSix, she died of accidental fentanyl intoxication while at a private residence. And her struggle with drugs and addiction was very apparent to the family, as well as documented on the television show Growing Up Hip Hop.
The Father And Son’s Feud Continues
On Saturday, Master P seemed to respond to Romeo’s cryptic messages.
Satan, you are a liar! Love y’all and Jesus Loves you too. Keep being a blessing and more Blessings will come to You. #HappyFriday
Miller responded with a poem about trauma, which was shared on his Instagram page.
Master P responded to his son’s additional commentary and added that “social media is not the place for healing.”
And Miller quickly clapped back at his father, adding that he plays “the victim.” And he isn’t the man he paints himself to be.
This was my last straw pops, stop trying to play the victim. I loved you so much that I followed you blindly for 30+yrs. You know we’ve talked behind closed doors. You aren’t the man who you paint to be and why is it war because I refuse to follow your lead. You only want to protect your image but the image isn’t even real.
Romeo Miller Exposes His Family’s Alleged Financial Struggles
Miller went on to say that he’s “tried to keep things in house” but his father is “addicted to social media” and uses “this app as therapy.” The 33-year-old then went on to expose the family’s financial state.
And when the world find out about the finances, outside of a gift or a car I’ve never been paid for anything I’ve accomplished as Lil Romeo… You only pay outsiders rightfully so they’ll speak good on your name. I’m at peace because I can now speak my truth and help others. Mom was always right. Your pride is everything.
In a later comment, Miller added that his family has been “living month to month” since he was 18 years old.
Master P Says He’s Heartbroken By His Son’s Claims
The 52-year-old returned to Instagram to share his shock at his son’s recent claims. And to see that this feud with his son appears to have started over money. He proceeds to call Mille “entitled” and “spoiled” at 30-plus years old.
“I get it, I’m just an ATM for this family,” he added.
On Sunday, however, Master P seemed to soften his tune toward his son. And took to Instagram to share a video directed toward him.
I love my family, my door is always open for my son. And if I’m wrong, forgive me. I’m apologizing to you if I’m wrong. I’m still a work in progress, I come from nothing. Everybody go through trauma; I’m dealing with this right now… I don’t have to be sitting around moaning and crying. I can’t get my daughter back. But I can go out there and keep her legacy going… So let’s do this in love, let’s do this in peace. Think about it, we stronger together. But you older now, so you got to lead by example for the rest of the kids. And we’ll get through this. I’m just telling y’all keep y’all prayers, we need it, and God gonna do what He gotta do.
Despite his more positive outlook, the video wasn’t without shots at Miller.
Today’s a sad day because I gotta get out of character and put this on the internet, which I don’t want to do, but I tried to call my son… He don’t call back, it’s been months… So my question to Romeo is: If you’ve been in the business for as long as you’ve been in, and you a thirty-something-year-old man and if you’ve been around me, watching me hustle and do my thing, why you not where you want to be at? Because that means you not listening. That means you want to do your own thing. You done brought your own circle of people. But you can’t get mad at me… That’s the problem when you take kids and you protect them from the real struggle and the pain and you don’t allow them to deal with their own consequences. And then when they grow older, they [say], ‘Oh, ‘You never gave me nothing!’ At 30-something, man. People can go back and look, you’ve been shining for a long time, son. All you gotta do is pick up the phone and call me or come to the house and holla at me.
Miller also captioned the video, making it clear where his feelings stand.
I’m at peace now, I know the Truth. This social media rant was never about my daughter. This is about some money. Houses, cars and jewelry are temporary, you can’t take any of it with you when you die. Life is too short. People gotta stop being ungrateful and place blame when they’re not where they want to be in life. I’m tired of people saying they love me only when I give them something. I’m not an ATM machine or a robot, I have feelings too. Thanks for all your prayers, we need it. I’m moving on, going back to work and hustle for the ones that appreciate me. @romeomiller
Miller has not yet responded to his father’s video apology.
Roommates, what do you think about this family feud?
