Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič is attending today the 6th National Humanitarian Conference of France (CNH), where the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna, is presenting the new Humanitarian Strategy of the French Republic (2023-2027).
During his visit to Paris Commissioner Lenarčič will also meet bilaterally with Minister Colonna, to discuss common areas of interest, such as France’s role as an humanitarian actor, the global humanitarian funding deficit and specific humanitarian crises,
and with the Elysée’s diplomatic advisor, Emmanuel Bonne, on the key challenges in global affairs linked to rising humanitarian needs across the world.
