Fiat introduces the new Topolino EV which is a new iteration of its Citroen Ami complete with an elevated front-end structure, the brown tonal cloth retractable roof, open sides, and cream tonal leather seats. It looks identical with the exception of the aforementioned changes. Other details include the 5.5 kWh battery that is able to deliver a 47-mile range and reach a speed of 28MPH.
The company only shared the exterior photos and did note that the inside has a charging port and a phone holder. In technicality, the Topolino EV is a quadricycle and can be driven in cities that do not need a driver’s license. In a press release, Fiat notes that “The new Fiat Topolino will play a socially active role in promoting electric mobility in cities and a special role in creating a personal mobility solution for the entire family. Fiat’s democratic mission of providing urban sustainable mobility solutions which are accessible to everyone.”
