Jimmy Butler might single-handedly will the Miami Heat to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
On Monday night, Butler was otherworldly, scoring 56 points in the Heat’s 119-114 Game 4 victory over the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks. The win put the Bucks, widely viewed as the championship favorites, on the brink of elimination. Postgame, even Butler had to admit that he still doesn’t think he’s the best player in the East, but with Giannis Antetokounmpo still seemingly less than 100%, Butler and Miami have a real shot to close out the series on Wednesday night when things shift back to Milwaukee, something that seemed unfathomable when the Heat were simply trying to advance out of the play-in tournament.
