Mother In Law’s makes drinkable kimchi broth that’s plant-powered and packed with fermented probiotics to support good gut health. Thanks to its small batches and hand-cut strips of napa cabbage, Mother In Law’s delivers “what Koreans call ‘son-mat’ meaning ‘hand taste’ which describes the labor of love that comes from making food with your hands.”
At Natural Products Expo West, Mother In Law’s launched a fresh new look for its drinkable kimchi. The all-new glass jars sport color-coded labels so that the Mild and Spicy varieties are more easily differentiated. Additionally, the product is described as cold-fermented kimchi broth that’s ready to sip, slurp and pour.
The demand for fermented foods, including kimchi, has increased in recent years as consumers become more interested in gut health and the potential benefits of probiotics.
