Lenovo is introducing a new AI chip for its ‘Slim 7,’ ‘Slim 7i,’ ‘Slim 5,’ ‘Slim 5i,’ and the new ‘Slim 5’ 14-inch edition laptops. The ‘AI Engine+’ dynamically adjusts the laptop’s thermals “to optimize cooling on the fly and maintain maximum output with minimal noise.”
The ‘Slim’ series is marketed as a super-thin version of Lenovo’s popular gaming rigs, offering consumers a portable and convenient solution for gaming on the go. The ‘Slim 7’ models include a 16:10 display with the option of a WQXGA / 240 Hz or a 3.2K / 165Hz.
Each laptop is equipped with an RGB-compatible keyboard, a full numpad, and 1.5mm of travel. The Intel editions will launch in April, while the AMD models will come later in May.
