Yung Miami and DJ Akademiks got spicy on the Twitter timeline on Monday. They traded insults, accusations, and petty promotional messages.
It all started because Akademiks made several comments on this past weekend’s biggest celebrity news: Diddy is a daddy again. The producer announced the news on December 10 via a tweet.

Several hours later, it seemed like Diddy becoming a seven-time dad was all anyone could talk about. So, DJ Akademiks weighed in on his Twitter and YouTube platforms.
“Diddy different…my n***a done f***ed around and had a side baby on his harem of side chicks. Brother Love a real 1,” Akademiks wrote, along with laughing emoticons.

Akademiks Calls Yung Miami “Diddy’s Side Chick” On Twitter & In YouTube Video Before The Twitter Argument
By Monday, Akademiks published a video speaking on Diddy’s announcement. He seemed to find the situation “so hilarious” and gave his definition of a “city girl.”
“A city girl these days is just a low self-esteem chick, bruh,” Akademiks said. “A city girl is just a placeholder on a roster, let’s keep it a bean.”
He continued, speaking on the ‘end’ of the ‘city girl, hot girl, icy girl’ era. Then, he mentioned the City Girls rapper.
“Yung Miami is like Diddy’s side chick,” Akademiks said. “Like one of them…he got like about eight, nine. Okay, maybe I shouldn’t call her a side chick because everybody like how can she be a side if she the main. She’s on the roster.”
Then, he said women “try to get technical” and resort to the ‘I’m single, he’s single’ line. But Akademiks insisted the word semantics don’t negate that somebody, including Caresha, is “a side chick.”
The ‘line’ Akademiks referenced is one Miami previously used to describe her open relationship with Diddy. She told XXL in September that they’re both single when apart.
“When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single,” Yung Miami said.
Months before, on the show Caresha Please, Diddy also declared he was single before they both agreed they were “going on dates” and “go together…real bad”.
Yung Miami Claps Back At Akademiks On Twitter
As people continued to discuss the Diddy news, Miami took to Twitter with a message for everyone speaking on her affiliation with him.
“I’M NOBODY SIDE B***H LET’S JUST MAKE THIS CLEAR ON THIS GOOD MONDAY,” Miami tweeted. “I don’t come 2nd to no b***h.”
Then, she sent a warning to “b***h a** n***a” Akademiks, telling him to keep her name out of his mouth.
Afterward, the City Girl fired off a series of tweets aimed at both critics and Akademiks. She claimed she was “not mad” but “trending” and spoke about Diddy choosing.
“Diddy won’t even look half of y’all b*****s way! Majority of y’all praying upon a falling star b***h plsssssssss,” Miami wrote.
When someone pointed out her energy during Diddy’s announcement, Yung Miami claimed that nothing had changed. She also clarified that she “don’t want a man cause all y’all’s be in my DM.”

Akademiks Responds To Miami, Claims She’s Misdirecting Her Anger And Having A Mental Breakdown
After a series of back-to-back tweets from Caresha, Akademiks responded to her initial warning.
“Misdirected anger…Brother Love wouldn’t approve of this behavior,” Akademiks tweeted. “I ain’t the one that had a side baby on y’all…relax.”
He continued critiquing her ‘anger’ in a series of tweets. Meanwhile, Miami followed up with claims that Akademiks has a habit of harassing her online.

Yung Miami responded again, denying his claims that she was having a mental breakdown. Instead, she said she was “in lala land with [her] feet up, smelling her flowers.”
Akademiks ended the back-and-forth on his end by telling Miami that she sounds like she learned about Diddy’s baby “via TMZ just like everybody else.” She also denied that claim, responding, “you don’t even believe that.”
Hours after the exchange, Akademiks promoted his Twitch account and threw a petty shot at Miami in the tweet. He wrote, “giving babysitting tips to whoever that might need em.”
Meanwhile, the artist sent out a promo code for her brand Caresha Please. The promo code was LILAK, and the message partially read, “life’s GREAT! Only thing I’m mentally breaking down is should I do 15% or 20% off @ Caresha Please.”

Yung Miami Definitely Isn’t Love Sean Combs’ Mother But Is She Diddy’s Girlfriend?
If you haven’t caught a clue yet, Diddy’s most public bae, Yung Miami, is not the mother of Love Sean Combs. Neither are any of the women linked to Diddy this year, including Gina Huynh and Daphne Joy.
Instead, the mystery mama is allegedly 28-year-old Dana Tran. According to TMZ, which obtained a copy of the birth certificate and revealed the mother’s identity, Love was allegedly born on October 15 in Newport Beach, California. Dana is reportedly a Southern California native who works in the cybersecurity industry. At this time, no other details are known about Diddy and Tran’s ‘relationship’ and decision to welcome a child together.
Meanwhile, in addition to luxury gifts like a Mercedes-Maybach SUV and lavish vacations, Diddy has publicly given Yung Miami her verbal flowers. At his 53rd birthday celebration, he got on his knees to praise the rapper.
“Ain’t nobody loving me like this, she loving me like this. That’s what’s up. That’s what the f**k is up. That’s what I f**k with,” Diddy said.
A few weeks after that, Yung Miami, Diddy, and his daughters Chance, D’Lila, and Jessie spent Thanksgiving Day volunteering together.
Thanksgiving Day wasn’t the first time Miami has allegedly been spotted with Diddy’s teens and older children. In August, the rapper seemingly joined the family for a yacht vacation in Capri, Italy.
For now, it’s unclear what role, if any, Miami will play in Love Sean Combs’s life.
Diddy has remained quiet online amid all the messy conversations. Still, The Daily Mail added fuel to the fires after revealing that the music mogul enjoyed a hand-in-hand date with influencer Shawntya Joseph just four days after he welcomed his youngest daughter into the world.
