Aimi is preparing to launch a beta version of its eponymous music platform with the promise of making it possible for users to go about listening to music that adapts to their needs, tastes and moods.
Made available in beta format for 5,000 users to try out, this music platform allows users to tweak various elements such as bass, progression, harmony and tempo. In essence, users are promised the ability to influence the creation and character of the music, rather than passively listening to tunes that are played at them. For instance, users can select the platform’s various musical modes and vibes before using a shuffle mechanism to access different sounds and energy. Users can also hit the thumbs-up button to signal their approval, effectively influencing what kind of music is generated for them going forward.
