Turn 10 notes that Forza Motorsport will be launching in compatibility with Xbox and PC hardware. This is the franchise’s most immersive racing series experience to date. The game has over 500 cars that are available for players in the collection including 100 brand-new vehicles that have been added to the series.
In order to ensure that the cars look their best, the company uses a spectrophotometer to scan the paint jobs of the vehicles in the system. The studio speaks to this in a blog post, stating that “With this new sourcing technique, our paint models have a more realistic light response across colors, metal flake, and gloss levels.” Every car will also have context-aware damage and dirt that builds up.
