Just when you think the Green Bay Packers are out of the playoff picture, Aaron Rodgers pulls them back in.
Just over one month ago, following a 40-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Rodgers openly discussed stepping aside and letting backup Jordan Love finish out the season once the Pack was eliminated from postseason contention. Four weeks and four wins later, the 8-8 Packers have a 61% chance to finish as the No. 7 seed. Simply put, a win against the Detroit Lions at home, and they are in. Of course, the Lions are also “sniffing around” the playoff picture, so Rodgers and company should not book their travel just yet. Either way, it’s an impressive feat for the reigning back-to-back MVP to even have his team in this spot in the first place.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Rodgers already holds the franchise record for most touchdown passes in the postseason, a total he hopes he can add to this year.
