Romeo and his father Master P have made amends to their relationship just ahead of the New Year.
“Very Hard Conversations”
The 33-year-old shared the update with fans via a post on Instagram.
In order to be used, you have to be willing to be misunderstood and humiliated sometimes. Noah was mocked for building the boat, Jairus showed us that sometimes we have to be willing to walk through the dead places so that God could show us how he can use every situation, no one ever thought little David could defeat the giant, and we all know the mistreatment of Jesus. My point, I’m willing to fall on my sword for mines! It was never about parent vs child, or this false narrative or that, it was about doing whatever had to be done for the growth of my family.
Miller went on to add that he and his father shared a “very hard” conversation on December 31.
Today, December 31st, me and my father @masterp had very hard conversations; ironically outside in the rain, but in order for any generation to grow, that communication has to be had and reciprocated on both sides. The good, the bad, and the ugly. No matter the journey ahead, our family can truly begin to heal and I believe many others will use our story as an example to learn from. What a way to close the year! Vivre (live) l’amour (love) et pardonner (forgive). #ForTyty 🤍🕊
Romeo & His Father’s Previous Dispute
As The Shade Room previously reported, Miller took to Instagram last month to share that he reached a “boiling point” in his relationship with his father. The post arrived after Master P shared his condolences for DJ tWitch, who died by apparent suicide.
Today was a boiling point. A seen a man avoid his own children struggle with suicide and depression but post another man whom passed today that he doesn’t even know. Yall idols be lost. Better stop following the blind. Watch when its revealed.
Miller accused his father of being “addicted” to portraying a certain image of himself on social media.” He even went so far as to suggest that the Miller family is struggling financially.
And when the world find out about the finances, outside of a gift or a car I’ve never been paid for anything I’ve accomplished as Lil Romeo… You only pay outsiders rightfully so they’ll speak good on your name…
Master P Issued His Son A Public Apology
Master P took to Instagram and shared a video of him publically apologizing to his son, as previously reported by The Shade Room.
I love my family, my door is always open for my son. And if I’m wrong, forgive me. I’m apologizing to you if I’m wrong. I’m still a work in progress, I come from nothing. Everybody go through trauma; I’m dealing with this right now… Think about it, we stronger together. But you older now, so you got to lead by example for the rest of the kids. And we’ll get through this…
However, the apology did leave fans a bit confused, as it included some questionable statements directed toward Romeo.
So my question to Romeo is: If you’ve been in the business for as long as you’ve been in, and you a thirty-something-year-old man and if you’ve been around me, watching me hustle and do my thing, why you not where you want to be at? Because that means you not listening. That means you want to do your own thing. You done brought your own circle of people. But you can’t get mad at me…
Master P went on to caption the video, saying that the feud between him and his son was centered around money. Not mental health and his children’s well-being as Miller initially said.
I’m at peace now, I know the Truth. This social media rant was never about my daughter. This is about some money. Houses, cars and jewelry are temporary, you can’t take any of it with you when you die. Life is too short. People gotta stop being ungrateful and place blame when they’re not where they want to be in life. I’m tired of people saying they love me only when I give them something. I’m not an ATM machine or a robot, I have feelings too…
Roommates, are you happy to see that the father-son duo has worked things out?
