The New York-based retailer Extra Butter has teamed up with Air Jordan to pay homage to one of basketball’s greatest stars with its new Extra Butter x Air Jordan 2 OG Chicago sneakers.
With its latest release, Extra Butter aims to explore the impact of Jordan’s legacy. The new Extra Butter x Air Jordan 2 OG Chicago sneakers feature a high-top design, faux lizard skin side panels, and winged insignias that are a nod to Jordan’s career-high year of averaging 37.1 points per game. But perhaps the most eye-catching element of the new sneakers is the contrasting Varsity Red and jet black hues, which obviously reference Jordan’s time with the Chicago Bulls.
