The new EASA Certification Platform goes live! EASA has worked hard on the digitalisation of certification projects, and during the last 10 months has developed and tested a new platform designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and predictability in the way we work with external stakeholders in different Certification areas.
The new tool will mainly manage Initial Airworthiness types of applications, such as Product certification applications for Type Certificates, Supplemental Type Certificates, Major/Minor Changes, and Major/Minor Repairs, as well as applications for Parts and Non-Installed Equipment (i.e ETSO authorisation, ETSO Minor Change).
To gain access to the the EASA Certification Platform, users must be granted “Contributor” rights to the Certification Platform by their Organisation Account Administrator on EASA Connect.
Account Administrators can assign users to the Applicant Team for their organisation’s projects, allowing them to collaborate directly with the EASA Team and create their own project deliverables.
If you are not yet registered, please contact your Organisation’s Account Administrator to complete the registration process and get the rights to start using the tool.
Once you have an account, you will be able to access the Certification Platform.
A User Guide is available on the dedicated Certification Platform page and contains the essential information needed to use the application.
In parallel, the EASA Project Team is working on the migration of on-going projects from SEPIAC to the Certification Platform. Applicants will receive relevant information in the next days.
Further enhancements are ongoing, and new features will continue to be introduced over the coming months. Stay tuned!
