SÃO PAULO — LATAM Airlines Group has announced an agreement to acquire up to 74 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, marking a significant expansion of its regional fleet and reinforcing its commitment to improving connectivity across South America.
The deal includes a firm order and options, with deliveries expected to begin in the coming years. The E195-E2, Embraer’s largest and most fuel-efficient narrow-body jet, offers lower operating costs and reduced emissions, aligning with LATAM’s sustainability goals and operational efficiency targets.
LATAM plans to deploy the aircraft across underserved routes and emerging markets, enhancing access to remote destinations while optimizing frequency on high-demand corridors. The move is expected to support economic development and tourism throughout the region.
The agreement also strengthens Embraer’s position in Latin America’s aviation market, where demand for modern, right-sized aircraft continues to grow.
