The UK Prime Minister has issued a strong condemnation of recent anti-immigrant protests, denouncing violent attacks against police officers, racist intimidation of minority communities, and the misuse of national symbols to incite fear.

The protests, which have erupted in several towns and cities, were partly triggered by public outrage over the conviction of an immigrant for sexual abuse and rape. However, government officials and rights advocates have emphasized that such crimes are committed across all racial and ethnic groups, and should not be used to stigmatize entire communities.

In his statement, the Prime Minister called for calm and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upholding public safety, protecting minority rights, and ensuring that justice is applied without prejudice. Law enforcement agencies continue to monitor the situation and have urged demonstrators to express their views peacefully and within the bounds of the law.

The unrest has sparked renewed debate over immigration, social cohesion, and the responsibilities of public discourse in addressing crime without fueling division.
