June 20, 2025 – London/Nur-Sultan – Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), will visit Kazakhstan on June 23–24, 2025, for a series of high-level meetings and project signings.
During her two-day visit, Renaud-Basso will meet with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, and other senior officials to discuss ongoing cooperation and investment opportunities. She will also co-chair the 37th plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council, a key forum for dialogue between the Kazakh government and international business leaders.
The EBRD President is expected to sign agreements supporting sustainable infrastructure projects and will address the Global Business Women Council, underlining the Bank’s focus on inclusive and green growth.
Kazakhstan remains the EBRD’s largest and longest-standing investment destination in Central Asia, with over €11 billion invested across 340 projects to date.
