Germany Warns of Escalation Risks

He urged all parties to exercise maximum political will to de-escalate tensions and prevent the conflict from spreading.

Wadephul also stated that Germany, France, and the United Kingdom are prepared to engage in talks with Iran regarding its nuclear program, expressing hope that Tehran would respond positively. He stressed that the situation remains highly volatile, warning that unchecked escalation could have severe consequences.

Addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Wadephul described the situation as “unacceptable”, calling for an end to hunger, death, and suffering. He urged Israel to grant full access to humanitarian aid organizations, emphasizing that this demand is backed by Germany and the international community.
